The Watershed Research and Training Center is hosting its 6th Annual Hyampom Salmon Gathering on Saturday, November 4 at the Hyampom Community Center.
We are inviting you to join us for an exciting afternoon of educational talks where you will learn about the South Fork Trinity River watershed and Spring Chinook Salmon. After the talks, we’ll move the classroom outdoors and journey out on the South Fork River to make real-time observations, look for spawners and learn more about the local salmon run.
Schedule of events:
12:30 – 1:00 PM: Meet and greet mixer
1:00 – 5:00 PM: Educational Program, Field Tour, and Fun Activities for Kids
5:00 – 6:30 PM: Pot luck dinner. Bring a side dish to share (and your own place setting to reduce waste)
